Zinun is the artistic pseudonym of Jinwoong Kim, a South Korean composer and media artist. He explores the intersection of contemporary computer music and interactive media, integrating compositional methodologies with emerging technologies.
With a diverse background spanning music, visual art, engineering, and natural sciences, Zinun develops custom software systems—such as BODIC and KCAC—to pioneer new forms of audiovisual expression. He holds a Ph.D. in Intermedia Arts from Tokyo University of the Arts, where he studied under Professor Kiyoshi Furukawa.
Currently, he is a Professor in the Digital Media Design major at Yonsei University, teaching creative coding, computational design, and media-based artistic practices.
